Different poeple call Sai Jhulelal by different names. Hindus call them JHULELAL, UDERO LAL( VISHNU AVTAR), AMAR LAL, LAL SAI, LAL UDERO, BERIAN VALA, SAKHAR VALA, PALLE VALA, SEHRAN VALA, MEHRAN VALA.VARUN AVTAR, KHIJAR DEVTA, DARYA SAI, SATYANARAYAN.Muslims call them DARYA SHAH, ZINDA PEER, KHAWAZA PEER, KHWAZA KHIJAR, YA ALIL. In some places of Punjab(Patiala) Lord Jhulelal is also called by the name PEER BABA HAZRAT HAZOOR INAYAT SHAHVALI CHISHTI. SAI JHULELAL was popularly called UDAY CHANDRA in childhood(also their Birth Name).In some places of Himachal Pradesh poeple worshipLord Varun by the name of KHINJAR DEVTA. In the rural areas of Punjab,Haryana,Rajasthan and other Northeren states of India Lord is generally called KHWAZA PEER & before boring of tubewells or other water related activities, KHAWAZA is worshiped & KHAWAZE KA PRASHAD (Sugar Patashas,Halwa, & Churma) is distributed.
